This Sunday at our afternoon service Rev Kate Gibson will give an address on painting icons and will bring along examples of her art. The service will be part of an Angel Festival during September when we shall be reflecting on how angels have been encountered in Biblical history and the way that we regard them today. Our weekly Thursday services will be themed on this subject, culminating in a celebration of the Eucharist on 29 September. We very much hope that you will come and see the ’Tea Bag Angel of the North’, an art installation which we have commissioned from a Banffshire artist Alison Simpson.
